How He Works

A private commission begins with a discussion between the artist and the client at either the client’s location the artist’s studio or by telephone. During this time, the mood, setting, size, and price of the portrait is discussed or even decided on.

Kenneth then holds one and possibly two photographic sessions of about one and a half to two hours. The artist then chooses with the client several photographs that they feel will work best. Next a sketch is presented to the client for likeness and approval. If approved the artist proceeds with the finished portrait. All reference photos can be bought and factored into final negotiated price as well.

Sizes are approximate. Prices increase in accordance with size and complexity of background.

Quotes are based on single subject pricing. Additional subjects add 50%.

Prices do not include travel expenses, framing costs, shipping fees or any state or city sales tax if applicable.

A signed contract and a 50% deposit is required to hold a place in the waiting list. The balance is payable upon acceptance of the completed work.
